I’ve been working as a newborn photographer for almost 3 years now and as a Huntsville Photographer specializing in newborn photography, I feel it is helpful for me to clarify the question, what is newborn photography? What does a newborn session include? The answer may vary across photographers but I will give you my quick answer in question format below!
What Is Newborn Photography?
Does a newborn session include photos with family? When you book with me, yes! We will talk through the different sets you want in your newborn session.
How many photos are included? I typically deliver 80-100 digitals and clients choose the amount alloted in their newborn package!
Do you bring props if the session is in a client’s home? While my photography style is classic with use of very little props, I do bring what’s called a Moses Basket as well as newborn swaddles (and bows/bonnets for baby girls).
How long does the session last? Newborn sessions typically last 1 hour – 2.5 hours (really depends on the baby and amount of people in session).
Should I feed baby before the session? Stick with your normal routine, and we will adjust the session as baby needs!
